Waders in the waves

Sunny afternoon swim in the shallows, cool water and warm sun.

This picture is part of the ‘oceanside’ series of paintings. Paint has been generously applied using a palette knife rather than a brush, giving texture and depth. The colours move through white and ocean greens through to indigo on the unseen horizon.
